Senior Communications Consultant for Executive Leadership & CEO

We’re looking for a top-notch communications professional to join our team. The right candidate will have extensive experience in speech writing and crafting engaging presentations for high-level executives and developing strategic corporate messaging, a team player, and be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done. This position works with the larger Corporate Communications team that is responsible for enhancing PGE’s reputation and satisfaction with customers and stakeholders through honest and forthright communications.

Responsibilities include:

Proactively developing overall enterprise-wide executive communication strategy.
Overseeing the alignment of the company’s CEO and executive leadership outreach and messaging to ensure it’s consistent across communications channels and in line with PGE’s strategy.

Drafting speeches, presentations, enterprise-wide communications and other key content for executive leadership and the CEO.

Assisting with Board of Directors presentations and communications.

Acting as a key communication coach for the CEO and executive leadership team.

Advising the executive leadership team on outreach opportunities that are in line with the company’s strategic objectives.


Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, political science, marketing or similar field plus a minimum of eight years progressively responsible experience in communications, public affairs or media relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least three years of experience in planning and delivering executive communications. At least 5 or more years of directly supporting chief executive or high-level principal for an organization of comparable complexity and/or size is preferred.
